All of this are very unique regions: Trentino Alto Adige, with Germanisation of its territories; Veneto and Friuli, influenced by the history of the Republic of Venice; as regards Emilia Romagna, we must remember that half of it, namely the territories of Bologna, Ferrara, Ravenna, and Forli, were under the dominion of the Papal State. Therefore, trying to give logic to a cataloging of the knives in these territories is quiet complex.
